The Business Advisory Analyst will assist in tasks associated with financial analysis, problem solving, and developing unique solutions to drive our clients' success. The Business Advisory Analyst will assist a project team throughout the data cleanup, financial model buildout, analysis, and strategic planning processes.

  • Assists in financial data review, cleanup, and analysis. Developing.

  • Assists in designing financial models for project needs and requirements that are set forth by the project managers.

  • Assists with research and applies project related data as required by the project managers.

  • Assist with financial and technical analysis for various engineering projects including power generation, power delivery, and other utilities.

  • Assist in developing and performing detailed financial analysis using a variety of computer-based software.

  • Assist project managers, engineers and technical analysts to develop and incorporate technical assumptions regarding capital costs, operation and maintenance costs, performance estimates, and economic assumptions and forecasts.

  • Assist with developing technical reports and presentations summarizing results of analysis.

  • Assist with organizing data into report format and arrange graphic illustrations of research findings. Assist with interpreting financial and economic conditions and subsequent business implications to client projects

  • Assists with client presentations, design review, financial analyst, and contract administration for the design of utility systems for various industries and markets.

  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Engineering Technology, or related field from accredited program is required.

  • Successful completion of FE exam strongly preferred.

  • Previous internship and/or related consulting experience preferred.

  • Proficient computer skills (e.g. Microsoft Office Suite)

  • Strong attention to detail, facilitation, team building, collaboration, organization and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work methodically and analytically in a quantitative problem-solving environment.

  • Effective written and oral communications skills.

  • Demonstrated critical thinking skills.

  • Proficient in standard electrical engineering techniques and procedures.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and PPT)

  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without requiring future sponsorship for employment visa status.
