Description

The Spatial Platform Modernization Service Offering Manager will be responsible for the vision and solutions for 1898 & Co’s spatial enterprise systems solution offerings. This includes product planning and marketing, business development in the early stages of the offering, prioritizing product and service offering deliverables, gathering, and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with the engineering team to deliver winning client solutions.

The Spatial Platform Modernization Service Offering Manager will work with the 1898 & Co. technology consulting, marketing, and support personnel to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are attained and the product and marketing efforts support Burns & McDonnell's overall strategy.

  • Is the face of the Spatial Platform Modernization offerings for 1898 & Co.

  • Define the Spatial Platform Modernization strategies, build, and maintain a roadmap and provide continuous iterative updates to meet market requirements.

  • Develop technical requirements for service offerings by working with stakeholders (both internal and external) as needed, ensuring that stakeholder and market needs are attained.

  • Manage and grow technical teams with the competencies required to ensure successful delivery of Spatial Platform Modernization service offering projects.

  • Evaluate external partnerships, marketing, sales, and licensing opportunities.

  • Provide technical and industry expertise with respect to the competition.

  • Develop and present the core positioning and messaging.

  • Compile and present business plans to secure internal and external financing within established risk and financial parameters.

  • Perform product demonstrations to customers in a variety of settings.

  • Research, propose, and assist with product pricing.

  • Develop and implement sales tools and collateral.

  • Develop and present sales briefings and training programs.

  • Present at industry conferences.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or related degree from an accredited program and 8 years of relevant consulting experience. Applicable years of experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.

  • Master's Degree MBA preferred

  • Excellent business acumen with proven success managing consulting engagements.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to quickly and efficiently interpret large data sets.

  • Ability to uncover customer needs, develop recommendations and deliver them persuasively.

  • Expert facilitation, collaboration, organization, and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong understanding of financial concepts.

  • Excellent planning and analytical skills.

  • Must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills; strong interpersonal skills; and the ability to clearly and effectively present complex information to all levels of employees, management, and clients.

Compensation Range:

$200,000-$280,000

The expected compensation range for this position is displayed in compliance with all local/state regulations. The expected compensation range for this position is based on a number of factors, including but not limited to individual education, qualifications, prior work experience, and work location. The total annual compensation package will consist of a base salary and eligibility to participate in our discretionary year-end incentive bonus program.
